Take a 10-12 mile horse ride into the Alberta Canadian back-country and you will find an untouched pristine wilderness loaded with wild game and adventure. Growing up in these mountains has provided this outfitter with a vast knowledge of the surrounding mountains and river drainages. There aren't many places in these mountains that he hasn't explored and hunted. His family has been operating in this same area for more than 2 generations and they have built an exceptional reputation of success. And large Canadian moose is his specialty.

Hunts are booked for 10 days giving you plenty of time to transit into camp with ample hunting days remaining. A lightly hunted population of moose await the few hunters booked to these camps on any given year. Only 4-6 hunters will have the opportunity to access this vast moose hunting area and with guaranteed outfitter sponsored permits, it is a difficult opportunity to pass up.

Often hunters will pick up a mule deer permit to add to this moose hunt. There are not huge numbers of deer in the area, but there is often an opportunity to take a representative quality buck. It is also highly recommended to have a wolf permit in your pocket as there are many wolves in the area. There is no additional cost to add these species to your hunt beyond the purchase of the required permits.

Hunters flying into Canada will arrive in Calgary and rent a car to drive to Rocky Mountain House (about 2 hours) where they will be met by the outfitter. Airport pickup is available for $300 each direction. Depending on arrival time, a hotel stay may be necessary. From there, the outfitter takes care of everything until you are back in town 10-days later.
