* This outfitter has chosen to manage his moose area to consistently provide top quality bulls. Moose are hunted on a very limited basis taking only 2-4 hunters per year.

* Due to the very limited number of hunters, this outfitter is able to boast a 100% success rate for the past several years. The average antler spread of the bulls taken is 61".

* Hunts take place in typical moose habitat. Thick stands of alders, willows and timber provide great cover. Hunting is by glassing from high points until a quality bull is found and a stalk is planned. By mid season the rut kicks in and the bulls become very mobile and more visible as they search for cows.

* Hunters are encouraged to be licensed for wolves and they can be taken at no additional charge. Many black bear also inhabit this area of Alaska and can be taken for a $1,000 trophy fee.
