Idaho Over the Counter Black Bear Hunt

* Fully guided hunts over bait or behind hounds. These hunts include meals, lodging, transportation and trophy care. Hunters are responsible for their own license and tags, but these can be purchased over the counter upon arriving in Idaho.

* High percentage of color phase black bear. Colors range from black, chocolate, brown, red, cinnamon and a few blonde. Many also have the white chest markings.

* Though the season begins in mid-April, this outfitter chooses to wait a few weeks to insure most of the bears have come out of hibernation before hunters arrive in camp.

* With historically high success rates and many return clients, these hunts book quickly each year. Book these hunts early!
